dream

all i heard were voices, and saw feet, on the sand facing the same direction, the feet were rubbing on eaach other. for the feet gave an expression of what was said and how these two felt about each other, the whole story were told through the wrinkles each feet had, each line proof of a journey between two individuals whose feet, tell you how their love overcomes, and withstands, how the feet carried them through their journey, took them through floods and droughts. feet in the sand i dreamt i dreamt of that, i wouldnt say poem but that's what i dreamt of last night.
bagzzzzz!!
we learn about ourselves through people, and for the past two months, i have learned that i can be patient, and that i dont work well under pressure, though the project is over, the memories of doing something for the kids of kagontle lives on.
"death be not proud, though some have called thee, mighty dreadful, for, thou art not soe..." how death defined? an event when someone's soul leaves their body, and goes to a peaceful place? but events are fun aren't they? what happens to the people that are left behind? from what we know of this "dreadful even" is that it is the crossing over of a human soul to a different world, be it heaven or hell. that will be determined by how one's life was lived, so we are told, the only way for us to know what death is, where we go when we die is to go through it. what is death??
freedom???is it a feeling??but whatever freedom may mean to you as an individual, as long as it does not harm others.
I could never write a poem about love, not because i haven't been in love, but because it is the hardest thing to translate into words. It's as if no words could come closer to deciphering this beautiful feeling that possesses my entire being! but then again there's a saying that goes the best things don't have words that descrie them.
I have to admit, i looooooove heels!!but cant walk on them...like its super hard, its sad.....

can you imagine life without trees??
as soon as you cannot keep anything from a woman, you love her.
You think because you understand "one",you must understand "two", because one and one make two. But you must also understand "and". Ancient Sufi saying.

Tshwarelo eseng Mogakane is a great poet!!! i love his mind, what he has to say, and how he says it, he is one of those poets that captures you, you get lost in what he is saying. he was asked in the book:Timbila6, a journal of onion skin poetry, how he would describe himself, he said "I'm not cheap. I have values that transcend human understanding , but quickly translate to tangible wealth to be appreciated by all. Out of everything I know I am so far, despite the fact that iam GOD." HE CONTINUES TO SAY: which i liked "I'm a thinker first, a writer second, a speaker third, a family member forth, a lover fifth, and a God." when i read about him, i just got inspired myself as a poet.
